<h3>Overview</h3><p>Situated in Kawag Forest, <a href="https://www.malaysiatravel.com/sabah" target="_blank">Sabah</a>, just a short distance to&nbsp;<span style="color: var(--link);">Danum Valley Conservation Area</span>, Kawag Nature Lodge provides you a stay and an adventure where you can discover the life Sabah's forest, including its river, caves, waterfall, and most importantly, Borneo's endemic plants, birds, insects and many other animals. Stand still for just a few minutes and listen to the sound of wildlife and birds in its natural habitat.</p><p>The Kawag Nature Lodge features 20 units equipped with air conditioner, ceiling fan and 24-hour electricity for your comfort. Each room features standard amenities, ranging from hot/cold shower, bath towels and toiletries. All of these are provided to help you get a good night sleep from a day full of nature exploration.</p>

Once you've arrived, walk pass the 200m boardwalk to the main building.</p><p><br></p><h4>Briefing</h4><p>Cool off with a refreshing welcome drink and a guide will give you a brief introduction of the facilities and your itinerary during the stay.</p><p><br></p><h4>Lunch</h4><p>Make sure to fill yourself up with a sumptuous lunch provided at the restaurant before your activity.</p><p><br></p><h4>Trekking Activity</h4><p>Get ready for a guided trek to the riverine trail at Kawag rainforest. You will pass through jungles and rivers. as well as some endemic wildlife.</p><p><br></p><h4>Dinner</h4><p>Head back to the lodge for your dinner.</p><p><br></p><h4>Night Drive</h4><p>After your dinner, join for the night drive in search of nocturnal animals. This activity is subject to weather condition.</p><p><br></p><h4>Overnight</h4><p>Return to your lodge and rest for the night.</p>

Kawag Nature Lodge / Jungle Trekking / Night Drive

<h4>Morning Walk</h4><p>Wake up early and get ready for a morning walk to Observation Tower. Witness birds hunting for food early in the morning or you can choose to walk along the Kawag Road.</p><p><br></p><h4>Breakfast</h4><p>Head back to the lodge and enjoy a hearty breakfast.</p><p><br></p><h4>Waterfall Trail</h4><p>Proceed for a guided trek through the forest and limestone cave towards Ali Baba Waterfall. You might spot bearded pigs, orangutan and birds endemic to Kawag Forest if you are lucky. Get your swimwear ready and take a dip in the refreshing river.</p><p><br></p><h4>Lunch</h4><p>Enjoy your dinner at the main lodge to recharge yourself for the next activity.</p><p><br></p><h4>Kawag River</h4><p>Continue your adventure to the Kawag River. If weather permits, you can go for water tubing and swimming.</p><p><br></p><h4>Dinner</h4><p>After a long day, head back to the main lodge and have your dinner.</p><p><br></p><h4>Overnight</h4><p>Take a rest and spend the night at Kawag Nature Lodge.</p>

Kawag Forest Jungle Exploration / Ali Baba Waterfall / Kawag River

<h4>Sunrise Viewing</h4><p>*Day 3 Itinerary is only applicable for 4D3N package only</p><p>Wake up at 5 in the morning and trek to the highest viewpoint to catch the breathtaking view of Kawag Sunrise. The trail will approximately take about 1.5 hours.</p><p><br></p><h4>Breakfast</h4><p>Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast.</p><p><br></p><h4>Jungle Trekking</h4><p>Once you are fully recharged, proceed for a 2-hour jungle trekking activity.</p><p><br></p><h4>Lunch</h4><p>Head back to the lodge and freshen up. Your lunch will be served at the restaurant.</p><p><br></p><h4>River Activities or Jungle Trekking</h4><p>After lunch, you may choose either to go for river activities or jungle trekking.</p><p><br></p><h4>Free and Easy</h4><p>Trek back to the lodge and take a rest. You may explore the place at your own leisure.</p><p><br></p><h4>Dinner</h4><p>At 7pm, head to the restaurant for your dinner.</p><p><br></p><h4>Stargazing Activity (Optional)</h4><p>Kawag is one of the best spots to view the night sky. Climb up to Observation Tower to witness this incredible view of the milky way with your naked eye.</p><p><br></p><h4>Overnight</h4><p>Rest for the night at Kawag Nature Lodge.</p>

Be immersed with the panoramic view of Kawag Forest and the surrounding sceneries from the top.</p><p><br></p><h4>Breakfast</h4><p>Head back to the main lodge and indulge in a hearty breakfast.</p><p><br></p><h4>Free and Easy</h4><p>Explore the place at your own leisure or just relax and savour the moment before heading back to the city.</p><p><br></p><h4>Lunch</h4><p>You lunch will provided at the main lodge.</p><p><br></p><h4>Return Transfer</h4><p>It's time to bid a goodbye.
