Overview

If you're looking for a jungle trekking adventure or wanting to brave the wild with a camp out for the night without having to go too far, then the Kawang Forest Centre is the place to do so! Located just on the edge of Kota Kinabalu city in the small town of Kinarut, the Kawang Forest Centre is the ideal place for urban dwellers to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Covering 1,551 hectares of forest, it preserves and sustains biodiversity that calls the primary forest reserve home. Because the forest is not often explored, it serves as the perfect place to experience nature at its best. If you're up for some wildlife sightings and not afraid of the dark, then you can explore the bat caves along your trek.

  • This tour package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transportation. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings.
  • Additional fee for outskirt pick up / drop off (e.g. Shangri La Rasa Ria or Karambunai) is applicable and payable to the driver upon pick up.
