About Sipadan Mabul Resort

Mabul Water Bungalow, located on the beautiful Mabul Island, is a luxurious 4-star floating dive-resort under the Sipadan-Mabul Resort. This resort features 40 wooden-style bungalows, built over the water on stilts to provide ultimate comfort. Each bungalow is luxuriously furnished with contemporary decor and equipped with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, an en-suite bathroom with a heated shower, a private balcony with panoramic sea views, satellite TV channels, a mini bar, an in-room safety box, and free wireless internet access.

The resort offers a variety of facilities including an outdoor restaurant serving excellent western and local cuisine, a bar and lounge, a souvenir shop, a business center, a dive center, and a health spa. Guests can also enjoy a vinyl swimming pool (41ft x 21ft x 6ft) with jacuzzi whirlpool spas. Every morning, a complimentary buffet breakfast is served.

Guests can partake in a range of activities such as PADI/NAUI diving courses (from open water to divemaster level), scuba skills refresher courses, technical diving courses, Nitrox NAUI/PADI specialty courses, snorkeling trips to nearby islands, table tennis, ocean kayaking, and beach volleyball. Whether you're an avid diver or just looking to relax, Mabul Water Bungalow offers an idyllic setting and top-notch amenities to make your stay unforgettable.

Important Things to Note

  • Check-in/out time for Mabul Water Bungalow is at 2:00PM and 12:00PM respectively. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability.
  • Divers and snorkelers should refrain from touching or restraining turtles underwater. If turtles are panicked or cornered, they can drown.
  • Only 120 permits per day were given to visitors of Sipadan Island. Priority will be given to visitors who stay from 5 nights onward at Chalets. Each entry permit costs MYR40 per person per day to be paid before or upon arrival.
  • All guests are required to sign a liability/release form before or upon arrival, indicating that visitors have already understood the diving and safety rules of the resort.
  • No refund will be allowed if visitors wish to shorten or alter any reservation once the trip has commenced or due to bad weather.
  • Tips are never expected but will always be appreciated
