• Confirmation: Full payment via SabahTravel.com is required to confirm your booking. You will receive a voucher with the assigned Tour Operator's details and confirmed departure jetty.
• Tour Basis: This package operates on a shared (join-in) basis, including boat transfers, guide assistance (on boat/island), and activities.
• Private Tours: Private arrangements (boat/guide) may be available upon request. Please enquire when booking for availability and pricing.

Departure Jetty & Timings

• Departure Point: Your departure jetty will be either Sutera Harbour Marina, Jesselton Point OR DBKK Jetty. This is determined by the Tour Operator you select during booking. Please check the Operator details carefully on your voucher for the correct meeting point.
• Departure Time: Stated departure times (e.g., 7:30 AM from jetty) are approximate. Hotel pick-up times (if selected) vary based on traffic and hotel location. Please be ready at your lobby at the advised time.
• Return Time Variability: Return times are estimates and can vary due to sea conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Please allow flexibility in your schedule after the tour. Contact the operator (details on voucher) if significantly delayed.

Safety & Weather Conditions

• Weather Contingency: Your safety is paramount. The Tour Operator reserves the right to alter itineraries, snorkeling spots, timings, or cancel the tour due to unsafe weather, sea conditions, or other safety concerns.
• Cancellation Policy: Should the tour be cancelled by the Operator due to safety reasons, we will assist with providing alternatives or applicable refunds.
• Flight Departure Warning: Due to the possibility of weather-related delays impacting boat returns, we strongly advise against booking this tour on the same day as your departure flight.

Health & Participant Suitability

• Boat Journey Suitability: The boat journey to Mengalum involves open sea travel (approx. 1-1.5 hours) and can be bumpy. This trip may not be suitable for:
• Pregnant women
• Individuals with serious heart or lung conditions
• Individuals with recent surgery (especially back/spinal)
• Individuals with significant back problems, injuries, or related conditions (e.g., osteoporosis).
