Located 50-60km from the city, this remote island paradise in the South China Sea boasts fine white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The waters, less than 100m deep, teem with prized catches like Grouper, Red Snapper, Barracuda, Trevally, Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mackerel.

Renowned among anglers, Mengalum Island is a premier deep sea fishing destination and a key location for the annual Sabah International Fishing Tournament. Since opening to the public in 2010, it has also become a popular tourist spot. Whether you're an avid angler or a leisure fisherman, Mengalum Island offers an unforgettable fishing adventure in a stunning tropical setting!
