• This is a join-in tour, with shared guide and transport. Private guides or private tours are available on request for an additional fee. Please inform us at the time of booking if you require this.

• No refunds will be provided for any unused or declined activities once fees have been paid and bookings confirmed.
• Effective 1 January 2026, the use of single-use plastic bags is strictly prohibited in all Sabah Parks. This policy is implemented to safeguard the natural environment and protect both marine and forest ecosystems from pollution and long-term harm. Visitors are required to bring their own reusable eco bags when entering any Sabah Parks area.

Bohey Dulang Hiking Guidelines

• Proper footwear is COMPULSORY. Only sneakers or hiking boots are allowed. Sandals, flip-flops, crocs, and similar footwear are strictly prohibited.
• Sabah Parks reserves the right to deny entry to anyone wearing improper footwear.
• The hiking trail is approximately 600 meters uphill. Please wear comfortable shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle and light snacks to maintain energy.
• Children under 6 years old are not permitted to join the hike.
• In case of rain or closure by Sabah Parks, the Bohey Dulang hike will be replaced with a snorkeling session at a suitable nearby site.
• Due to the limited number of Sabah Parks rangers, waiting time before hiking may range from 1–2 hours, depending on the number of visitors and guide availability.

Safety, Weather & Cancellations

• Your safety is our top priority. The tour operator reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary in the event of bad weather, rough seas, or other unforeseen conditions beyond our control.
• Routes, schedules, and activities may be adjusted for safety, conservation, or operational reasons without prior notice.

Health & Participation Restrictions

• This tour involves physical activity and boat travel. It is not recommended for:
• Pregnant women
• Individuals with heart or lung conditions
• Those who recently underwent surgery
• Persons with spinal/back injuries, fractures, or chronic conditions like arthritis or osteoporosis
• Due to the adventurous nature of this tour, children under 5 years of age are not encouraged to participate in any part of the program.
• Kindly inform us in advance if you have any medical conditions or health concerns.

Guest Responsibility & Packing Advice

• Please note that you are responsible for your own belongings at all times.
• Avoid bringing valuables, electronics, or important documents. Use waterproof bags to protect your personal items from getting wet.
• For sun protection, we highly recommend bringing SPF50+ sunscreen, a hat/umbrella, and sunglasses.

Environmental Protection

• The harming of corals, marine life, or natural habitats is strictly prohibited.
• Visitors found violating this policy may face penalties under Sabah Parks regulations.
• Please respect all park rules and help us protect Sabah’s unique marine ecosystem.

Tipping

• Tipping is not expected, but it is greatly appreciated by your guides and crew if you are satisfied with their service.
