How to Use

  • Present your mobile or printed voucher at The Habitat ticketing counter located at the top of Penang Hill.
  • Purchase your Penang Hill Funicular Train ticket separately at the Lower Station.
  • After arriving at the Upper Station, enjoy a scenic walk of approximately 7 minutes to reach The Habitat ticketing office.
  • Advance booking is required at least 2 days before your visit.

Important Notes

Admission

  • Ticket is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • All prices are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
  • Child aged 3 years and below enjoys free admission.
  • Senior Citizen tickets are applicable for guests aged 60 years and above.
  • Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the attraction.

Attraction Access

  • Last admission for Standard Entrance Ticket holders is 5:30 PM.
  • Visitors entering after 5:30 PM are required to purchase the Evening Walk Add-on (RM18 per person).
  • Standard Entrance Ticket holders must exit the attraction by 7:00 PM.
  • The Night Walk begins at approximately 7:45 PM (subject to darkness and weather conditions).
  • Evening Walk and Night Walk experiences are subject to weather conditions and attraction operations.

Park Information

  • Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
  • The attraction is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
  • In adverse weather conditions, management reserves the right to temporarily close the park for visitor safety. 

What to Wear

  • Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for walking.
  • Sports or comfortable walking shoes with good grip.
  • Light clothing suitable for tropical weather.

  • Evening Walk admission and Night Walk experiences are available for purchase directly at The Habitat Penang Hill and are not included with the Standard Admission Ticket.
  • Umbrellas and rain shelters are available throughout the park during wet weather.
  • Your visit contributes directly to rainforest conservation, environmental education, and sustainability initiatives through The Habitat Foundation.
  • Optional activities such as The Flight of the Colugo zip course are available at an additional cost.
  • Your admission includes a self-guided rainforest walk.
